It seems for them to be learned, life lessons always have to come too late. Sometimes, as well, we stubbornly ignore an understanding we already came to know. Sometimes we encounter situations that we would like to refuse, or we are just simply reluctant to accept what's real. Sometimes it's doubt.

All the while there is practice and perseverance -- a personal philosophy I try my hardest to follow.

It's important to me that I am making everyday. I want the viewer to be overwhelmed and then cope alongside me -- all while meeting them in the warm, familiar space of humor and a cartoon visual language.

I create thousands of artworks each year. I therefore don't expect everything here will be comfortably viewed in one sitting. I encourage you to return many times to understand the breadth of my work.
